“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.”
Acts 2:42-43

Family Groups at Willow Ridge are a great way to build friendships and a relationship with God. They are consistent, intentional gatherings of people that meet in homes to share life and follow Jesus Christ together.
Why does Willow Ridge do Family Groups?

We believe that this is the place where real life and real issues are discussed. In these groups we laugh together and comfort one another. It is a place to be encouraged, equipped and challenged as followers of Jesus Christ. Groups consist of 10-20 people who meet regularly to support, help one another, and build “family” together.

Why should I join a Family Group?

First, you’ll begin to understand the Bible better. There’s nothing like the chance to ask questions and discuss. Second, you’ll begin to feel like you are a part of God’s family and not just a face in the crowd. Third, you’ll be able to handle stress and pressure better. When you do life with others, life is a very different experience.

How is childcare handled for Family Groups?

Each group handles their own childcare. During the school year (August through May) we have Kids Discipleship at the church on Sunday nights at 5:30 p.m. for children birth to 5th grade. In the summer (June and July) we move to our summer programming.

Do you have Family Groups for Students?

We do have Family Groups for students from 6th to 12th grade.  There are separate groups for junior high and senior high. All student groups meet on Sunday nights at 5:30 p.m. at the church.
